- The brakes make a grinding noise. That’s when the problem is worse. If your pads are excessively worn, the brake disc and caliper will rub together and make a terrible grinding noise. You’ll need to replace the rotors in addition to the pads.
- The car pulls to one side. If the car pulls to one side while braking, this is usually a sign that the pads are wearing unevenly and need to be replaced.
