Hancock Shaker Village – This living history museum brings the story of the Shakers to life. This area was called the “City of Peace” by the Shakers who lived here for 179 years. The staff and volunteers are dedicated to preserving the history of the Shakers for future generations. Visit the 18 original historic buildings, the farm, gardens, animals, and more.

Berkshire Museum – This museum integrates art, history, and natural science by having a wide range of programs and exhibitions which promote educational connections between different disciplinary areas of study. The Berkshire Museum has been in association with the Smithsonian since 2013 and promotes the sharing of resources with the nation.

Melville’s Arrowhead – This is a historic house lived in by Herman Melville. The non-profit museum is operated by the Berkshire County Historical Society. Part of Melville’s house is open to the public for guided tours during the warmer months of the year. Even when the house is not open, people can still visit the property and enjoy the beautiful grounds. This is a great stop for all fans of history and/or literature.

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited is a new addition to the RAV4 lineup this year.

2016 is a big year for the Toyota RAV4. Taking the step from traditional gasoline-powered SUV to a new hybrid variant option, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 is gearing up for the future.

For the 2016 model year, the RAV4 has introduced three new model trims: the SE, the XLE Hybrid, and the Limited hybrid. In total, six trim levels are available, also including gasoline XLE, SE, and gasoline Limited. This gas-electric powertrain offering is sure to make the 2016 RAV4 many new friends.

The SE trim, new this year, is a sporty exterior variant that gives the RAV4 more style. It’s hot look comes from new bumper and grille shapes, LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, SofTex seats, and a better infotainment display.

Inside, there are more USB ports, a new gauge cluster layout, and Homelink garage door operation on some trims.

However, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 updates aren’t limited to just flashy gadgets or appearances. A number of new safety improvements have been introduced, such as Bird’s Eye View parking capability to guide you in tight spaces. Other safety components in Toyota’s Safety Sense package include Pre-Collision Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Alert, Pedestrian Pre-Collision, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
