This past week at the Chicago Auto Show, Toyota debuted the 2016 Toyota Avalon. The 2016 Avalon refresh features an updated exterior making it appear sportier than ever, and an upgraded interior with new comfort and technology features that appeal to car buyers of all ages – from older buyers to the young business man who needs a sleek, new car to impress his colleagues and his boss.
The full-sized Avalon pulls out all the stops with its newly designed exterior which features new taillights and new chrome rear bumper finishes, and a wider front grille that creates the sportier stance Toyota’s been moving towards with its Corolla, and Camry. Add in the new vertical turn signals and optional LED daytime running lights on higher trim levels, and the Avalon’s sleek exterior becomes much more appealing to the young and young at heart alike.
Of course the changes don’t stop there. Once you step inside the new Toyota Avalon, you will experience Toyota’s Entune audio system that now comes standard with every trim level. This audio system includes a 7-inch touchscreen, USB port, Bluetooth technology, voice recognition, and more.
No matter what you’re looking for in your new full-sized car, the 2016 Toyota Avalon will deliver. While the 2016 Avalon won’t go on sale until later this year, you can stop by and check out the 2015 Avalon right here at Haddad Toyota.
With the Chicago Auto Show coming up, many are wondering what new vehicles manufacturers have left to show off after the Detroit Auto Show last month. Well, on February 12th when the show opens we will officially find out, but until then we are left with only a few teasers such as Toyota’s hints at a special edition Toyota Corolla.
This special edition Corolla promises to be even sportier than the Corolla already is. It will come with red interior accents, 17-inch wheels, a glossy black finish, our upgraded EnTune infotainment system, and a push button start to really get your motor running. While we aren’t sure about the rest of the details, we do know that the special edition Toyota Corolla will only be available in a select number of hues: Black Sand Pearl, Absolutely Red, and Super White. Only a select number of these special edition, sporty cars will be made, so if you want one, you better come by Haddad Toyota to put in your order today!

We’ve been waiting in anticipation to see what the new Toyota Concept cars revealed in October’s Paris Auto Show are going to look like. Will they be sleek and fluid like the Toyota Fuel Cell Vehicle they revealed at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)? Will the new Toyota Concept Cars look sportier like the Toyota FT-1? Will Toyota just completely catch us off guard with a new and interesting design much like their new U2 Concept which looks nothing like anything we’ve seen from Toyota before?
While we couldn’t predict what Toyota was going to show us, we knew it was going to be interesting! At every major car show, Toyota seems to reveal a little more about their new vehicles, and this time is no different. With the Paris Auto Show opening in less than 2 weeks, we just knew that we had some special vehicles on the way, and yesterday Toyota Revealed their C-HR Sporty Compact Crossover. This new car’s fluid exterior reminds us a lot of the Fuel Cell Concept released earlier this year, which is fitting since it is a hybrid. Of course one thing did strike us as odd about this image – the C-HR appears to have no door handles, even though reports say it has 3 doors!
Check out the image of the Toyota C-HR Concept Car below and let all of us at Haddad Toyota know what you think of this interesting new vehicle in the comments below!
This past week was the 2015 Pebble Beach Auto show consisting of the Concours d’Elegance, Tour d’Elegance, RetroAuto, Motoring Classic, Automotive Fine Arts Society Exhibition, and the Pebble Peach Car Auction. This Auto Show overall is aimed at showing off classic cars, luxury vehicles, and concept cars. Toyota joined in on the fun when they showed off new designs of their FT-1.
As you might recall, the new Toyota FT-1 was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show this past January. At Pebble beach, two new exciting versions of it were as different as they were similar. The first version of the FT-1 was the FT-1 Gran Turismo. This took the current platform of the FT-1 and made it even sportier by giving it a larger rear spoiler and a lower stance. This Vision GT FT-1 could hint at what Toyota’s future race cars, such as the Supra, will look like in the coming years.
The second special-edition Toyota FT-1 is what Toyota is calling their “upscale interpretation” of the vehicle. The outside of the car changes from the bright red color to a cool, graphite shade. The seating surfaces in their upscale FT-1 become even more luxurious with tan leather, making this edition of the FT-1 like the Clark Kent to the Gran Turismo FT-1 Edition’s superman. In fact, that’s what the designers were after – the more muted tones were inspired by a superhero’s transition.
Both special edition vehicles that were on display this past week will be available for players to drive in the video game, Gran Turismo 6. Learn more about the Toyota FT-1 Vision GT concept in the video below and be sure to stop by Haddad Toyota to stay up-to-date with all the newest Toyota News.
Hybrid technology and efficiency enthusiasts ought to have at least one thing to get really excited about at the New York Auto Show.
Almost as though in celebration of Earth Day, the Big Apple will play host to the new Prius Plug-In Hybrid and Highlander fuel cell hydrogen vehicle (FCHV), which visitors will not only be able to watch but also ride in.
Ever wondered what it would be like to drive around a completely emission-free vehicle powered by the most abundant stuff in the universe? (The same stuff that powers the sun?) If so, then just head on over to the Auto Show and check out this amazing Fuel Cell Hydrogen-Powered Highlander!
When you’re done, you’ll also be able to check out the gorgeous fuel cell sedan concept Toyota unveiled at the International Consumer Electronics Show, and which it plans to introduce to the market next year. If there ever was a “car of the future,” this would be it.
But if you can’t wait till 2015 to get your hands on a fuel efficient vehicle, just pay us a visit at Haddad Toyota. We’ve got plenty of fun, fuel efficient new cars, such as the Toyota Prius and Camry Hybrid, for you to choose from!
In 1998, Toyota stopped selling the beloved Toyota Supra in the U.S., much to the chagrin of car lovers everywhere. Recently, Toyota renewed their trademark for the Supra which has car lovers looking hopefully towards the Japanese company for a new model of the popular car. While, Autoblog.com admits that this type of renewal is usual, even when the car maker does not intend to use the trademark, many believe that this renewal means the car will be made again soon, especially considering other moves made by Toyota such as their reveal of the FT-1 Concept car at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
While in production, the Supra won the Import Car of the Year award from Motor Trend magazine, made Car and Driver magazine’s Ten Best car list multiple times, and won a Design and Engineering award from Popular Mechanicsmagazine. It’s been a part of various movies, video games, TV shows, and music videos including Grand Theft Auto, and the Fast and the Furious film series.
This popular car might also be a part of the BMW-Toyota sports car joint project announced at the end of last year.
While we can’t know for certain, we hope Toyota will give us something to cheer about in the near future. Check back with Haddad Toyota’s blog to learn more about a possible new Toyota Supra!
What do you think? Could this new FT-1 pictured below be a new Toyota Supra?
