Best SUVs to Take on Vacation

When it comes to taking a vacation, odds are you want the best vehicle around. An SUV is the best choice for many reasons, ranging from incredible cargo room to an excellent return on fuel economy. Considering gas prices are still relatively low, driving an SUV on your summer vacation is likely the best choice possible. As it turns out, Toyota is great at making utility-driven SUVs!

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 offers up to an EPA-estimated 24 city/31 hwy mpg, making it one of the most fuel efficient models on the road. With an engine that delivers 176 hp, the Toyota RAV4 offers considerable power as well. As for cargo area, with the seats up, the RAV4 offers 38.4 cu ft. of space. With the seats down, that comes to 73.4 cubic feet of space.

To get a little bigger, take a look at the 2016 Toyota Highlander. This SUV offers an EPA-estimated 20 city/25 hwy mpg with an engine that puts out 185 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. With the rear seats down, the Toyota Highlander offers up to 83.7 cubic feet of cargo space, making it one of the best offerings on the market.

When it comes to luxury, the 2016 Toyota Sequoia is the way to go. Earning an EPA-estimated 13 city/17 hwy mpg, this isn’t the most fuel efficient SUV on the road. Packing up to 120.1 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats down, it easily makes up for what it lacks in fuel economy.

Here at Haddad Toyota, we have the best SUVs to take on vacation waiting for you!
