2016 is a big year for the Toyota RAV4. Taking the step from traditional gasoline-powered SUV to a new hybrid variant option, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 is gearing up for the future.
For the 2016 model year, the RAV4 has introduced three new model trims: the SE, the XLE Hybrid, and the Limited hybrid. In total, six trim levels are available, also including gasoline XLE, SE, and gasoline Limited. This gas-electric powertrain offering is sure to make the 2016 RAV4 many new friends.
The SE trim, new this year, is a sporty exterior variant that gives the RAV4 more style. It’s hot look comes from new bumper and grille shapes, LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, SofTex seats, and a better infotainment display.
Inside, there are more USB ports, a new gauge cluster layout, and Homelink garage door operation on some trims.
However, the 2016 Toyota RAV4 updates aren’t limited to just flashy gadgets or appearances. A number of new safety improvements have been introduced, such as Bird’s Eye View parking capability to guide you in tight spaces. Other safety components in Toyota’s Safety Sense package include Pre-Collision Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Alert, Pedestrian Pre-Collision, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
Clearly, if there were a time for you to buy a RAV4, it would be now!
